ABOUT THE AUTHOR. J. Miguel Guillén (1988, Alicante).
I studied illustration at the Alicante School of Art and Design.
Before that I was already an illustrator, but I didn’t know it.
There they put some shoes on me and I started walking.
Sometimes I get distracted but I always get back on the path, a path that this time stops at The Mercado.
ABOUT THE WORK
The illustrations that make up “Idiosyncrasy” are the fruit of a project developed in recent years and that continues to grow. It is a collection of images that collects my particular imagination and brings to light sketches and ideas kept in the drawer.
The technique applied is collage; Starting from a black silhouette, I use digital means to add cuts, textures and colors, thus shaping the final illustration.
